Microsorum pteropus 'Trident'

Microsorum pteropus 'Trident' is a narrow-leaved, smaller form of Java fern from Asia. It is an easy-to-care-for aquatic plant characterized by tripartite leaves that can vary from whole to multipartite. This slow-growing cultivar is suitable for both beginners and experienced aquascapers, fitting well in various aquarium sizes. It is ideal for mounting on stones or tree roots; when planting on the substrate, the horizontal rhizome should not be covered. The plant propagates by forming new, small plantlets on the leaf tips, which can be detached and replanted. It features low light and CO2 demands.
