'Ozelot' Amazon Sword

Echinodorus 'Ozelot' is a decorative hybrid between Echinodorus schluteri 'Leopard' and Echinodorus ‘Barthii’. This rosulate plant reaches 20-50 cm in height and forms a rosette 20-40 cm wide. It is characterized by elliptical black spots on red-brown leaves, which are darkest on the youngest growth. Unlike many other spotted varieties, 'Ozelot' retains its distinctive spots even under low light intensity. It is an undemanding plant suitable for beginners with a medium growth rate and low CO2 requirements.
