Anubias barteri var. nana

Anubias barteri var. nana is a small, attractive rhizomatous plant originating from Cameroon. It reaches a height of 5-10 cm with a rhizome length of 10-15 cm or more. Known for its durability, it grows slowly and its leaves survive for several years. It is highly versatile, thriving in shady places where other plants might not, and is not eaten by herbivorous fish. It frequently flowers under water. For best results, it should be attached to stones or tree roots using fishing line; if planted on the bottom, the rhizome must remain uncovered to prevent rotting.
